Mental Health Therapist

Addy Turiano is master’s level clinician who specializes in treating children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety and depression, adjustment disorders, gender dysphoria, gender questioning, and various LGBT+ issues. Addy provides an approach that is both educational and affirming. 

Addy grew up in San Diego, California, graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Human Development. She continued her education at Lipscomb University where she obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Since graduating, Addy has worked in outpatient therapy settings, treating clients across the age span with a variety of disorders and presenting issues. She has extensive training in and uses multiple evidence-based therapies, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her experience extends to both individual and group treatment.

Addy excels at connecting with young clients and making therapy both engaging and focused. She strives to facilitate insight for positive change and growth for each individual.
