Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Lohr, PMHNP, provides diagnostic, medication management, and supportive therapy services.

Elizabeth grew up in Louisville, KY and attended Centre College, a small liberal arts college in central Kentucky, where she majored in Spanish and minored in Psychology. Elizabeth then received her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. While at Vanderbilt, Elizabeth was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

After graduating from Vanderbilt, Elizabeth moved to Chicago and practiced with Northwestern Medicine's outpatient psychiatry clinic. She treated adults of differing ages with a variety of mental health concerns. She also served as a psychiatric consult for Northwestern's Psycho-Oncology department. 

Elizabeth values collaboration and takes a compassionate, holistic, evidence-based approach towards her treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Her approach allows clients to feel heard and understood, helping them to achieve their goals.
