JOIN OUR TEAM!
Joining the Nashville Child and Family Wellness Center (NCFWC) Team means becoming part of a community of professionals who value excellence, compassion, and growth. We see our group’s function as providing something collectively that we wouldn’t be able to provide separately—to deliver services that include the highest quality, collaborative, evidenced-based mental health care for children, adolescents, young adults and families in our community while also fostering an environment of education for providers new and seasoned. We have a unique collaborative approach among multidisciplinary professionals who are easily accessible under one roof and function as a team. This unique approach allows us to make real contributions to our community. It allows us to provide excellent care to those in need, to pay our providers well, to support their continued growth, and to sustain the overall growth of NCFWC. Our Team enjoys working and being with one another!

PRACTICUM STUDENTS AND FIELD PLACEMENTS
Nashville and Franklin Offices
The clinicians at NCFWC value training and supervising future professionals. We have opportunities for clinical psychology, counseling, and social work students to complete practicum and field placements at NCFWC. Practicum students can focus their training on individual and group therapy, testing (for clinical psychology students), or a combination of both. Given level of experience and training, students may conduct initial intakes and create treatment plans, provide individual therapy services, administer standardized tests, co-lead group therapy, develop administrative skills, and participate in team meetings. Supervision with a licensed clinician will be guaranteed. Students also have the opportunity to attend our training program’s bi-monthly didactic trainings, and they may obtain additional training and supervision as needed. Placements typically begin in the fall and last one academic or calendar year.
POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS

We accept qualified applicants for post-doctoral fellowships on a year-round basis. Most start in July or August and are often offered positions upon completion of their post-doctoral fellowship. During their year of training, fellows are provided educational opportunities and supervision in any of our specialization areas (i.e., DBT, PCIT, Eating Disorders, ERP and/or Testing Services). Due to the collaborative nature of the multidisciplinary team, experiences may be adapted to training needs and clinical interest. Supervision with a licensed psychologist will be guaranteed. Post-Doc’s also participate in our training program’s bi-monthly didactic trainings.
PRE-LICENSURE TRAINING
Nashville and Franklin Offices
Those newer, pre-licensed therapists hired as full time employees are also offered the opportunity to attend the bi-monthly didactic trainings with students.
