Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Laura Laine provides diagnostic, medication management and supportive therapy services. She is a Nashville native who graduated from the Ensworth School before earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Sewanee: the University of the South. Due to her love of learning and connecting with those around her, she pursued a master’s degree in Psychiatric – Mental Health nursing at Vanderbilt University. During her time at Vanderbilt, Laura was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Laura’s experience has been in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults who suffer primarily from depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and eating disorders. Her experiences, both inpatient and outpatient, have fostered an appreciation for collaborative care and a team approach to each individual that is based in evidence. Laura delivers care with compassion and believes connection and authenticity are important to build a foundation for lasting change and wellness.
